This page indexes a suite of Adobe Acrobat PDF documents created by "printing" the Help pages for Jade 6.5 from Materials Data, Inc. This page is only accessible by people who have an Earth & Planetary Sciences network account and is provided as a convenience to users of the Powder Diffraction laboratory in the department.
The material here is copyrighted and licensed by Materials Data and may not be distributed. It was decided to make this available to Lab users because of the difficulty of learning about the program when the only manual for the software is in the help files and the files can only be accessed while actually sitting at the console of the system hosting the software.
Below is the outline of all Jade 6.5 help topics. Those topics for which an Adobe Acrobat file is linked are hyperlinked (blue underline) in the list. Topics for Jade modules not part of our packages (Easy Quant, Rieveld) will not be included. Users If anything does not work as expected please send Email to connolly@unm.edu in which you describe the problem in you are having. I plan to work on creating an Adobe Acrobat index document to access the files outside of this HTML index but for now this is it.
Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 5 for Windows may be downloaded from our FTP site and installed on your system by clicking here. If you need the Macintosh, UNIX or Linux version or want a newer Windows version (version 7 is actually pretty good), click here to go to Adobe's download page for Acrobat Reader.
