The University of New Mexico Paleomagnetic Laboratory (UNMPL) facilities are housed in two rooms in Northrop Hall on the University of New Mexico campus. Both rooms are large-volume, magnetically-shielded environments, one dedicated for general paleomagnetic measurements (2nd Floor Lab) and the other for rock magnetic measurements (Basement Lab). Follow the links to tour the UNMPL facilities, see the people, and learn some basic background information on paleo- and rock magnetism.
