lab to measure the isotopic composition of atmospheric water vapor. Once my
system is functioning, I will be using it to tackle some climate problems
regarding the Southwest - in particular the moisture source(s) for the summer
North American monsoon. I'm also working on CH chondrites with Rhian Jones
looking at the oxygen isotope composition of different phases in the meteorite.

Examine terrestrial contamination of carbonates in CM2 meteorites by weathering,
and researching CM1 chondritic carbonates to determine the nature of aqueous
alteration in the chondritic parent body. (Advisor: M.

Primary interests (and dissertation): Late Triassic paleomagnetism and magnetostratigraphy
of New Mexico. Other projects include magnetostratigraphy of the Early Cretaceous
Cedar Mountain Group, central Utah; paleomagnetism of Upper Triassic strata
in Arizona. Other interests include mapping (for StateMap), biostratigraphy,
