The tables below contain schedules for applications, notifications of admission and start/end dates for the Introductory Field Geology (E&PS 319L) course and the Advanced Field Geology (E&PS 420L/520L). There are links within the table to documents that must be completed and returned. To facilitate examination of the linked pages here, most of them will open in a blank new browser window when you click on them. To get back to this page, just close the new window or reduce it in size.
The course application form must be returned by postal mail to arrive no later than Friday, March 14, 2008. The application is provided optionally in two forms -- a Microsoft Word Document (in "rich text" format) that may be downloaded and completed using the student's software, or an Adobe Acrobat form that may be filled out and printed with Adobe Acrobat reader. (This form requires a recent version of Acrobat reader; click here if you need to download it.) Students may apply for both courses on the same form.
Non-Degree application materials must be printed, completed by the student and returned by regular postal mail. Registration and payment for the course is done online as explained in the timeline table below. Students must be registered and all fees paid before the course begins. Students should print this page and plan sufficiently to assure that all of the deadlines listed below are met.
Important note about Tuition and Fees: The course fees listed below are subject to final University approval but should be accurate. Exact tuition levels have not been finally set for summer courses and the numbers below are the best estimate we currently have available.
(Please note that some of the information below is subject to change. This page will be changed as updated information becomes available and the revision date changed accordingly. This page revised 12-Dec-2007.)
